        Ganzhou's Convenient Transportation

        Ganzhou borders Fujian in the east, Guangdong in the south, Hunan in the west, adjacent to Hong Kong and Marco, located in the first station combining southeast coastal area to the inland, and it is an essential transportation way combining the inland to the southeast coastal area.

        There are the Beijing-Kowloon Railway and Gan-long Railway,Ganyue Expressway, I-level road from Nanchang to Xiamen and four state lines 105, 206,319, 323 which go through the whole city. It takes only 3 to 4 hours from Ganzhou to Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Dongguan, Xiamen by bus, and only 4 to 5 hours from Ganzhou to Hong Kong.

        As for aviation, Ganzhou is praised as "National Mid-small City Airline Accessibility Improvement Trial City" by Civil Aviation Administration of China(CAAC). Over 60 cities can be reached in 5 hours from Ganzhou. Ganzhou Gold Airport (New Airport), which is 17 km away from Ganzhou City, has opened on March 26th, 2008. The airport is constructed in accordance with 4D standard, and it will open over 22 port airlines outside Hong Kong.

         With the formation of the large three-dimensional traffic pattern focusing on highway, Ganzhou, an important transport hub, its advantages for "from east to west" and "from south to north" have revealed gradually.Presently, the existing two railways in Ganzhou are Beijing-Kowloon and Ganlong. Athother six highways are still under construction or in completion, of which four linked Pearl River Delta Region taking a drive only 3-5 hours. Ganzhou is the only pilot city of the national branch air line development. The newly built class 4C Airport is the second largest airport in Jiangxi Province and the largest civilian airport within the border of Guangdong, Fujian, Jiangxi and Hunan such provinces. Also, it will be formed a route-network access to 50 provincial capitals and major economic cities of the country within 5-6 hours and shot for opening a direct airline to Hong kong within this year. Ganzhou water transport is connected to the Yangtze River, which can get through every coastal port. Through 3-5 years of construction, Ganzhou City Center will become a mega-city with a population of over 1,000,000. Another 20 years or so, we will build a 2-3 million of the population of mega-city that is a modernization of regional central city as a major thoroughfare of four provinces of Jiangxi, Guangdong, Fujian and Hunan.
